Collection: Liquid Soaps
"Cleanliness is next to Godliness"? I am inclined to agree.
In biblical antiquity, local prophets would anoint the future king, with oil. Such fine, uncommonly fragrant oils were hard to come by, indicating a painstaking rarity, challenging method of preparation, or symbol of status.
Funny enough, the recipe for liquid soap is similarly ancient, reaching back into histories as old as Greece or Babylon. It is made using three ingredients: the fatty oils of a plant or animal, high-pH alkaline water, and fragrant essential oils. The result is a cleansing, pH-neutral liquid, carrying the fragrance of the essential oils along with it.
I would like to believe that Anointing Oil and Hot Process Soap could have been one in the same.
Using that same ancient recipe (with a little bit of modern mathematics and technology), I crafted a liquid soap formula that will make you clean as a king. I invite you to bring home a horn of my best oils, anoint yourself, and to let me know how Regal it feels.
